Fixed Term Contract 

40 hours per week

Job Description: 

The successful candidate will: 

- Have oversight of all new product development in partnership with the management team. 

- Help with setting up ERP system 

- Create drawings of trailers using computer-aided design (CAD) software 

- Review workshop drawings to ensure they are accurate and complete. 

- Preform calculations to determine the quantity of materials needed for production. 

- Communicate with customres or other members of the team to discuss technical detials. 

- Coordinate with other team members to schedule manufacturing operations. 

- Maintain records of costs, labour hours, and other data related to manufacture. 

- Compose information for type approval requirements to both UK and European standards.

Essential Criteria:

- Min 2.2 degree (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Architectural Design/Building Design related principle. 

- If necessary, you must have a valid work permit/visa in place allowing you to work legally in Rep or Ireland.

Desirable Criteria: 

- Minimum 1 year experience of CAD design software

- Knowledge of FEA 

- Knowledge of NPD 

- Experience in technical design environment.
